How A 1930s Radio Show Created Its Sound Effects

End of the year, nostalgic time for some....might be a good time to look back at:

"How A 1930s Radio Show Created Its Sound Effects"

(I was hoping to get this embedded video to start at about 2:30...which I thought I coded it correctly, but apparently not.  Any ideas on what I did wrong?  IN the meantime if you want to scroll ahead to about 2:30...it might be the most interesting part.)

A guest in my studio.....is to be treated like a guest in my home.” -Dan Rea, WBZ

Talk Radio has changed, and discussion has become much more coarse. WBZ's evening talk host, Dan Rea, says he prides himself on treating his guests with respect.

"A guest in my studio,” he added, “is to be treated like a guest in my home.”

The Boston Herald's Jessica Heslam had this article:

Heslam: WBZ host Dan Rea treats studio guests like family — regardless of party
"Dan Rea has taken the road less traveled by most radio personalities, choosing smart conversation over shock-jock blather. In fact, listeners who disagree with him often get more airtime than those who do."
