Many of you have already heard that longtime WBZ DJ Dave Maynard has passed away.

Community radio conitues.....
There are a few stations lef6t that still continue to do local community radio. Sometimes we chuckle at stations doing the obituaries, and lost dog announcements, school committee meetings, etc. But in an era with fewer newspapers covering those towns, we didn't realize what a treasure these local stations were until most of them went away.
People continue to point to WATD in Marshfield, where Ed Perry continues to serve the local area.
WOON in WOONsocket, Rhode Island continues this tradion as well!
