Who's your Daddy...?

What are the chances that a Junior at Boston College with no on-air experience could get his own national radio show on XM Radio?

Well, what would be the chances if your dad was Tim Russert?

On Air Personality

Luke Russert is currently a sophomore at Boston College. An avid sports fan, by the time he was 16, he had attended two Super Bowls, a World Series, five Major League Baseball (MLB) All-Star Games, an NBA final, four NBA All-Star Games, two NCAA Final Fours, an NHL Stanley Cup Final, a U.S. Open and The Preakness Stakes. A graduate of St. Albans School in Washington, D.C., where he played football and baseball, Russert worked for the highly-rated ESPN program Pardon the Interruption during the summer of 2005.

Comments:
What? WZBC isn't good enough for little Luke? Yeesh.

Hundreds, if not thousands, of exceptionally-qualified and well-experienced broadcasters who can't find a job to save their lives...and a college sophomore gets it??

This is overlooking the disgustingly blatant conflict of interests here.

Surely this is violating some union agreement. If not, well, I can always feel better about Russert's waiting chair in hell sinking down another level.
